5-Ingredient Banana Bread

No Yeast, GF & Vegan

Raw buckwheat groats* Overripe banana Pure maple syrup Organic hemp seeds GF baking powder** Sea salt (optional)


Small blender for one batch. Larger high-speed blender with a tamper for a double batch.

Bread pan size: 7.75 x 3.75 x 2.5 inches


Recipe Overview

1. Soak, rinse and strain the raw buckwheat groats.  2. With a high-speed blender, blend all the ingredients until smooth.


3. Transfer batter-like mixture to a parchment-lined bread pan and bake for about 45 minutes at 350°F.  4. Cool, slice & enjoy!


Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of extra water to your ingredients to help blend them to a smooth texture.

Use fresh or frozen/thawed bananas for this bread.


Tilted Brush Stroke

For a rustic texture, fold in the mashed banana into the blended mixture.

A double batch will need to bake for longer, approx. 75 minutes. (1 hour and 15 minutes). Bake until internal temperature reaches 210°F.
