Comment on Apple Crisp Bread (GF/V) by Chantal.

Hi Kristi! Thank you so much for pointing that out! The bread pan I used is 7.5-in x 3.5-in (2.5-in high). Any bread pan should do, but the larger your bread pan, the thinner the final cake will be if that makes sense. I will add the measurements to the recipe post asap.

Simple Sorghum Sourdough
Hi! You will bake better loaves with the help of a Dutch oven, but you can bake equally beautiful sourdough loaves without a Dutch oven as well. This dough holds its shape pretty well, so it should be fine. You can place the dough boule on a parchment paper-lined baking tray to bake this bread recipe. You could consider making a tent with foil to cover the loaf for the first half of baking, but it’s not entirely necessary. Also, if you can, consider placing a tray or baking sheet on the lower rack (below the middle rack with your bread) and add a few ice cubes or pour a little water. Doing so will create some steam to help your loaf rise. Let us know if you do try it!

Hi Sonia! You’re right! It’s very hard to find all of a sudden! The brand I have and like using doesn’t seem to be online anymore. I will keep looking for something comparable and post it here for you!

How To Make Maple Cream
Hi Becky! Thank you for sharing your experience! Yes, it does turn out yummy if thinner or thicker for sure! Pure maple syrup goodness! My dad has already started tapping the maple trees at our family sugar bush! We’re so excited!

Yeast-Free Gluten-Free Vegan Bread
Hi Dina! If you can’t consume any rice flour I feel that increasing the oat flour and sorghum flour should work just fine. To do so you would replace the 90g with a combo of both oat and sorghum flour. If you wanted to introduce a different flour, almond meal (if you’re not allergic) or even tiger nut flour (not an actual nut) would work well in combination with the other ingredients. Also, keep in mind that GF baking powder is different than regular baking powder, if you’re not sure please start with 1 tablespoon as 2 might be too much if you’re using a regular brand.
