Comment on Gluten-Free Sourdough Starter by Christina.

Hello Chantal:) Thank you for your wonderful website and inspiration! Also, many thanks for the opportunity to post questions:) I’ve read many of the comments in the post to troubleshoot. I am wondering at what point does one give up? I am on day 8-on the 5th day, like clockwork, my starter deflated and I followed directions to proceed including adding a piece of apple slice, warm location etc. It simply is not reviving beyond few scattered bubbles and density. I started with packaged organic brown rice flour but on day 3 ran out and started grinding my own organic brown basmati rice flour. It did great until day 5. Any suggestions?
