Yeast-Free Gluten-Free Vegan Bread
Hi Adriana! I’m glad you found the recipe! If you can’t have whole psyllium husk, I do have another 4-ingredient bread recipe that might interest you: https://www.freshisreal.com/yeast-free-buckwheat-blender-bread/ Or you could try replacing the psyllium with flaxseed meal and get similar results. I would suggest adding more flaxseed meal if using it as a substitute for whole psyllium husk. Try replacing it with at least 4 tablespoons (about 1/4 cup) up to even 1/3 cup would be fine to replace the stickier psyllium. They both act as binders in this recipe, as there’s also no xanthan gum.

Gluten-Free Sourdough Starter
Hi! It’s ok to discard up to half of what you have in your jar but make sure to give it enough time between each feeding to get lively and active. It is possible to have to feed a GF starter and not necessarily have to discard any. It all depends on how it’s behaving. How old is your starter? GF starters usually never double in size but will grow and expand. How much you fed (flour and water) what you had in your jar will affect how much it grows. Let me know if you have other questions.

How To Make Maple Cream
Hi Patty! That sounds yummy! Were you hoping to combine only the gorgeous maple cream with cream cheese (vegan or not) to replace the butter and confectioners’ sugar you would typically find in a maple cream cheese frosting? You could always combine a small amount of homemade maple cream with some cream cheese to see if it blends well. I don’t know why it wouldn’t work. Keep the maple cream on the thinner side, so remove the boiling maple syrup from the heat as soon as it reaches 234° (235°F will make the syrup much thicker). If you try it, please let me know how it turns out. But please note that the maple cream makes wonderful icing too!
