I made these yesterday. The sourdough starter smelled great and had bubbles. The dough felt, like dough should feel. Used the muffin cups. Let it sit 4 hrs. Baked at 425 for 25 minutes with water beneath. There was little rising and the buns did not spread out. Definitely didn’t look like the pictures. What might have been the reasons?
