Quick 7-ingredient Vegan Strawberry Banana Hemp Milk will impress you with its shake-style creaminess! An excellent plant-based beverage to boost your intake of protein, fibre, and omegas. Chantal | freshisreal.com

Creamy. Frothy. Dairy Alternative.

Curious? Then you must try this simple and delicious 7-ingredient Strawberry Banana Hemp Milk recipe.

The little greenish beige things (see picture above) called hemp seeds helped me create this beautiful shake-style drink. You might even be able to convince a dairy lover to try this one. Let me know if you do.

Plant-Based Protein, Fibre, and Omegas

Hemp seeds (also called hemp hearts) are little powerhouses of beneficial nutrients. Every serving contains protein, fibre, and omegas. Who wouldn’t want their families to increase their intake of plant-based nutrients with seeds? Ever since first trying Manitoba Harvest’s organic hemp hearts a few years ago, I have come to love the versatility that this ingredient has to offer.

These seeds can be sprinkled on a salad or sandwich, added to granola, used as a crispy layer for a baked casserole dish, or even blended into simple frothy milk. My recent favourite is the gluten-free vegan hemp bread (English muffin style) recipe I developed, I hope to share it soon.

Perfect Snack, and Safe for School

When you can’t tolerate most nuts, have food sensitivities to many ingredients, or have children with allergies, you have to come up with other options to fill the nutrition gaps. By adding fresh fruits and a touch of maple syrup to a hemp beverage, it will please even the pickiest little eater. This drink is safe for school as it does not contain any of the top allergens.

I enjoy coconut and other dairy-free kinds of milk, but it’s good to change it up, to make sure you add a variety of vitamins and minerals to your diet.

My Squeezed Green Veggie Juice is another drink to try if you are looking to increase your plant-based nutrients. For kids, the Sweet & Sour Mango Smoothie developed by my youngest is always enjoyed by little ones.

Get the ingredients ready and try this creamy Strawberry Banana Hemp Milk recipe. Blend everything in a high-speed blender and enjoy! It’s really that easy to make.
