Hi Chantal, my problem is I don’t have a consistently warm place in the house. Every room is between 15°c and 19°c.
So I bought a fermenting heat pad, set it to 21°c and put the jar on a couple of wooden spoons so it wasn’t in direct contact and still it was erratic activity that eventually came to nothing by day 5! Any suggestions how I can maintain steady warmth? Does it have to be 21°c?
